Acer circinatum or Vine maple
Emily and Laura worked on this one.  We removed the very vigorous central branch, brought down the height of the tree, removed many other vigorous branches, and thinned some of the smallest twigs.  Julie pointed out the natural curvature to the left of the tree and though that we should maintain it.
